Taylor’s organizations offer support in the following areas:
Community Mental Support Services
Developmental Disability Day Support
Developmental Disability Group Homes
Within these disciplines our philosophy is to FOCUS ON THE INDIVIDUAL using our system of Integrated Work Teams. Taylor’s will call on our network of relationships with other professionals within the community, to provide a holistic approach to Behavioral Health Care. With this strategy our clients receive the best and most effective care based on their individual needs.
Mental Health Skills Building Services uses a strength-based, person-centered approach in assisting individuals in obtaining long-term goals of stability, independence, and success as adults. Our program begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify specific training and supports needed to assist the client in developing social, interpersonal, and community living skills necessary to function successfully in an independent setting. After the training and supports are identified, an Individualized Service Plan is developed to facilitate the client’s learning process and practicing skills necessary to achieve their goals.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation is designed to help people with severe and persistent mental illness who need help in most aspects of their lives. Persons with psychiatric disabilities experience problems in daily; living, working, learning and social environments. Psychosocial rehabilitation interventions aim to help individuals learn or learn again skills that would improve their long- term capabilities so that they can reintegrate into society and maintain healthy and appropriate relationships with others.
The Adult Day Support Program exists in order to help individuals with developmental disabilities realize their hopes, dreams, and reach their full potential. Like all our programs, our Day Support Program operates from a person-centered perspective.
Adult Day support has a heavy focus on Environmental Awareness, Social Skill Building, as well as Independent Living Skill Building and Community Integration.
